Coaching

Helping you navigate and thrive in the evolving work landscape.

Our Executive and Organizational Coaching Practice

Coaching centers around individual growth, empowerment, and development. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership. Coaching is not counselling, providing advice, or directing action. Coaching is all about being a trusted thought partner with the client to help them come up with their own insights, actions or solutions.

The International Coaching Federation frames coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

Why Coaching?

If you are curious about how coaching can support you, we are here to help explain coaching and how it might be a fit for you or your team. First, we work with you to identify focus areas that are meaningful and important to you – personally or professionally. It may include questions like:

  • Do you have a goal that you want to work towards?
  • Do you have recurring professional challenges that you want to discuss and overcome?
  • Is there a gap between where you are and where you want to be?
  • Do you want to build more meaningful connections or advance inclusive and more equitable engagement?
  • Are you interested in growing as a leader?

The client is in charge of the topic of exploration, and we work with you to tackle the big questions head-on.

Our coaching program is either three or six initial sessions of 60 minutes each and then one-on-one individual sessions can be booked with your coach as desired.

Interested in team coaching? We work with the sponsor to identify a tailored approach that will support the team and individual team members. This may include: skills and strengths assessments, a combination of one-on-one and team coaching, and team building. Click here for our coaching one-pager.

To book your free, 30-minute Session 0 with one of our coaches, email us at coach@engagedelaney.com. This session is an opportunity to answer your questions about coaching, see if it’s a fit for you or your team, and go over our program offerings.

Overview

Transitioning our change management role to coaching support, Engage Delaney worked with a Primary Care Network in British Columbia to provide coaching services. The coaching helped PCN team members feel more empowered and supported in their roles and better understand what they need to do their best work.

Our Role

The coaching was focussed on one-on-one engagements and was client driven based on the needs of their leadership role. Following the International Coaching Federation code of ethics, Engage Delaney worked with the client to articulate their leadership style, areas of priority focus, and key approaches to support their leadership role and mandate.
